Mario Lanza: Original Album Classics (5 CD Box Set)
These 5 CDs are reissues of the original LP albums on RCA Victor
from 1951 to 1962.
This is a wonderful CD collection, demonstrating Lanza's magnificent tenor voice and his ability to sing all sorts of music, from show tunes and movie songs to operatic arias and sacred hymns. It is pure joy listening to Mario Lanza's singing and he has rightly been called the "American Caruso."A highly recommended box set of some of Lanza's best recordings.

This is an excellent collection of Lanza recordings, some of them issued for the first time and mostly from the early years of his short but brilliant singing career. The CD is beautifully edited, with informative CD notes by Lanza authority, Derek Mannering. Highly recommended!
