Many people don't realize how many of the familiar Christmas carols and songs were written in the U.S.A.
Here is a disc with over an hour of Christmas musical treasures from two centuries of America's past, from 1778 to 1988. It was compiled by composer and music preservationist Roger Hall, who has included some of his own carols and arrangements, as well as Christmas music recorded by popular singers.
