Music for personal peace...
All the music was composed and arranged
by ASCAP composer, Roger Lee Hall,
and includes Christmas carols, an Easter hymn,
several Afro-American spirituals
and Shaker spirituals, plus other sacred music.
"Creator God" was first composed as a hymn for Earth Day and
later expanded in two different choral versions, both on this CD:
No. 1 -- a choir anthem in 1977 conducted by the composer
and performed by the Immanuel Lutheran Church Choir,
Attleboro, Massachusetts.
No. 18 - revised choir anthem in 1993,
composed in memory of John D. Herr,
performed by the Plymouth Church Choir
in Shaker Heights, Ohio,
