"Dream World"
Songs, Poems and Stories
(PineTree Press, 2007)
In this illustrated e-book, Roger Lee Hall has gathered together
his early song lyrics, poems and stories about his life experiences.
The first section has sixteen of his early song lyrics,
including his first complete song "Dream World,"
and his first recorded song, "The Soho Serenade,"
which he is holding in this photo...

The thirty poems from the 1960s and '70s are Roger's personal observations
of the world around him. They include his views of festive celebrations ("Carnival") and hectic work routines ("Big City"). On a more humorous side, he writes about the women he met on his travels ("European Flames: Six Limericks").
There are also poems with music themes,
such as "Melody in G."
Roger's six stories cover the years from his childhood to adulthood.
One of his earliest memories was meeting his favorite cowboy film star William Boyd, who played Hopalong Cassidy in the movies, on television and radio.
In August of 1950, Roger was featured on the cover of Look magazine
with Hopalong Cassidy.
Here he proudly holds that 1950 magazine issue...
