This CD from the American Music Recordings Archive [AMRA No. 15]
has music from the time of the landing of the Pilgrims in the
17th century to anniversary tributes in the 20th century.

It includes music of historical importance in New England history, such as:

  • psalms of The Pilgrims and Puritans (Nos. 1- 3)
  • music of the American Revolution (Nos. 5 - 8)
  • a song about ratification of the U.S. Constitution (No. 7)
  • music by early New England singing masters (Nos. 9 - 14)
