This illustrated memoir is not available anywhere else.

It is titled after the pop song written by Roger Lee Hall in 1962 and is included on the accompanying music album.

Using song titles, the frank and honest memoir tells the story of how a lonely young boy under great family hardship used songs for his survival during the 1950s and '60s, and which led him to eventually become a songwriter and singer.

This "musical scrapbook" was originally put together as a limited edition CD by songwriter and former radio disc jockey, Roger Lee Hall, with some of his favorite songs and radio and television excerpts from the past.

The 30 tracks include many rare items including:

*A recording of a Hopalong Cassidy cowboy song from 1950.

*An excerpt from Alan Freed's original radio and TV shows in the 1950s.

*An interview with disc jockey Bill Randle who introduced Elvis Presley on national TV in 1956.

*A memorial radio tribute to Elvis Presley.

*Some of Roger's first pop songs.
